Helper, doer, Prayer

I am a do'er. When someone comes to me with a problem I want to help-do something. I most cases I don't but sometimes I do and most of the time it gets me into trouble because I don't have the time, money, permission, etc...right now I am thinking of helping someone I don't even know but the need is great. I know that they would appreciate the help but I just don't know how to swing it. How do I know if it is something that should be done or what and more importantly if God wants it to be done? Right now I don't have time, money or resources but I just feel like this family needs help. PRAYER is the only way I can help right now I guess and sometimes that is the only way I can help.

I know why God created children, to make us adults smile. I was having a hard day on Monday and I cried out to the Lord "help me just get thru the rest of the day" and that was around lunch time. A little later after that prayer I got a call from my mom that we were meeting later than first was talked about..."thank you Lord"... I can have some sit down me time, well none of that happened. First the Aubs came in and sat with me hugging me..."thank you Lord for these hugs"... then Benjie cam in with more hugs and loves..."thank you lord for more hugs I can really feel your love commin down on me right now"... then our scoops came in and sat with me. Yes all 3 of my kiddos came in and we watched a movie...ahh just peace...then at the end there was a fun song playing for the credits scoops got up and started playing the air guitar..."thank you Lord for the laughter and fun"... it was so fun to see him strummin and dancing then Benjie started doing a mash pit action, it was just what I needed for a bad start of a day...a smile...

Happy 4th of July!!!

So Happy 4th everyone!!! I hope everyone will have a safe and wonderful holiday celebrating our country with your families! We are going over to a friend home and having a potluck with our growth group and then shooting off fireworks (everything legal of course) and just having fun. I hope to learn how to upload pictures so maybe in the next few days I will put them up of our family looking very red, white and blue and of our firework display.

My First Post

Oh my I guess I am officially n the bloggin world. Please help me if you can. I don't know all the rules and if I screw up please politely let me know.

So about me, I am an awful speller so I will try to always use spell check (so if you see a lot of mis-spells you know it wasn't on or I forgot). I have like to laugh especially at myself.

I am a daughter of Christ, wife of 16 years, mother of 3 beautiful children (daughter that is 8 and twin boys who are 4), best friends to a few, a friend to many and would like to be friends to all but I know that is impossible (yes I am a people pleaser and that does get me into trouble).

Why I started a blog...I really don't know, I love reading others blogs and started dreaming of my own and just couldn't resist. I will have fun things about my kids, about that I see in the world around me and just misc. ideas.
